Privacy Policy
Spooky Display (spookydisplay.com) is a Halloween display guide and gear-picks website operated by Tier 4 Support Inc., Santa Monica, California. This policy says what the site collects, which is very little, and what happens to it.
1. What the site collects
- Server logs. Like every website, our server records the pages requested, the time, the IP address, and the browser type. Logs are used to keep the site running and are not sold.
- Affiliate click records. When you click a shop button, our server records the page, the merchant, the pick, the time, and a one-way hash of your browser identifier. We never see what you buy. Details: affiliate disclosure.
- Nothing else on the website. There is no sign-in, no payment, and no camera or location access on spookydisplay.com. A companion iOS app used sign-in features on this domain in the past; those endpoints remain for that app only and, if you used it, hold your name, email address, and a hashed password until the app's retirement is decided.
2. Cookies
The site itself sets no tracking cookies. Our hosting network (Cloudflare) may set a technical cookie needed to serve the site securely. Every page loads its typefaces from Google Fonts, which means your browser sends its IP address and browser type to Google to fetch them. Merchant sites you click through to (eBay, Etsy) have their own cookies and privacy policies.
3. Affiliate programs
Spooky Display takes part in the eBay Partner Network, and may show Etsy affiliate product cards. When you click an affiliate link and make a purchase, the merchant may pay us a commission at no extra cost to you. The merchant, not Spooky Display, handles your order and your personal information for that purchase.
4. Sharing
We do not sell personal information. We share server logs only with the hosting providers that run the site, and with authorities when the law requires it.
5. Retention
Click records older than 13 months are pruned automatically by the site. Server logs are rotated by the hosting system on its own schedule.
6. Children
The site is not directed to children under 13 and does not knowingly collect information from them.
7. Your rights
You can ask what we hold about you or ask us to delete it. For website visitors the answer is usually a few server log lines; for companion-app users it is the account record named in section 1. Requests go to Tier 4 Support Inc. (tier4support.com).
8. Changes
If this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it.
